If You Got Eyes for the Unusual…

Posted: September 13, 2012 in Uncategorized

Curiosity brought you here. Welcome! That makes two curious of us. It’s good not to be alone!

Here you will find all you want about my work and projects. I’m Dennison Ramalho, a storyteller — film director and screenwriter. As you will see, I have a predilection for the Horror genre. But, please, don’t think me limited to it! I love movies, and the moving image.

Horror flicks, however, fascinate and captivate me from a very early age. I dig the ideas behind them, their eroticism and, yeah… their violence, too! The more, the merrier!

I hail from São Paulo, Brazil, but I’m currently based in New York City. Check the Contact page (above) for my coordinates.

I will often update the blog. So, stay tuned for more cool stuff, or sign up for our rss feed!

Scream until you like it!

For starters, what about taking a look at my latest short, NINJAS (2010)?  Check out the credits for the great people who made it with me (below).

NINJAS got its load of awards in festivals worldwide, highlights including our Silver Award for Best Short at the Fantasia Film Festival (Canada) and Best Short at the Transylvania International Film Festival. Official Selections include the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, the Sitges International Film Festival and the London BFI International Film Festival.

NOTE: this film includes scenes of VERY extreme violence and some nudity. It also may affect some viewers’ religious sensibilities. Definitely unsuitable for children and not work-safe. Discretion is advised.
